How often should a filter cartridge be replaced?

It depends on how much the pool is used and how often the cartridge is cleaned. If it is torn, flattened or no longer gets clean, it is time for a new one. We check it during service and tell you when.

Why is my pool still cloudy with a new filter?

Cloudy water can also come from water chemistry or the pump not running long enough. We check the whole system, not just the filter.

Do you replace the whole filter or just the cartridge?

Both. If the tank is in good shape we replace the cartridge. If the tank is cracked or the system is old, we install a complete new filter.
