Can you clean my pool after a hurricane or flood?

Yes. We remove debris and silt, treat dark or flood water, check the filter and equipment, and rebalance the water until it is clear again. We have brought back many Southwest Florida pools after storms.

Why is my pool water brown or tea-colored after a storm?

Storm runoff carries leaves, soil and tannins into the pool, which stain the water brown and use up the chlorine. It usually needs debris removal, filtering and treatment, and sometimes a drain and clean.

Should I drain my pool before a hurricane?

No. Florida pools should stay full before a storm. An empty pool can be damaged by high groundwater. Turn off power to the equipment and secure loose items instead.
